Science & Technology on Public Health in China: A Roadmap to 2050

人口健康直接影响到一个国家的经济发展和社会进步,并且是构建和谐社会的重要基础。我国人口健康领域一方面正面临着重大的挑战,另一方面科学技术的迅速发展为其提供了重要的机遇。中国科学院人口健康领域战略研究组通过对我国人口健康领域的科技发展趋势和需求分析,提出了我国人口健康领域2010~2050年的科技战略发展路线图;其科技愿景是,建立一个让中国人民生活得更健康的普惠健康保障体系。这个科技战略发展路线图主要由8个部分组成:①生物医学创新体系;②人口控制与生殖健康;③营养、食品安全与健康;④慢性病防治与健康管理;⑤传染性疾病防治;⑥认知神经科学与心理精神健康;⑦创新药物与生物医学工程;⑧再生医学。每个部分都包括了特定的发展目标、战略任务和关键技术。 本报告可作为政府部门、科研机构、大学、企业进行科技战略决策的重要参考,可供国内外专家、学者研究和参考。 As one of the eighteen field-specific reports comprising the comprehensive scope of the strategic general report of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, this sub-report addresses long-range planning for developing science and technology in the field of public health. They each craft a roadmap for their sphere of development to 2050. In their entirety, the general and sub-group reports analyze the evolution and laws governing the development of science and technology, describe the decisive impact of science and technology on the modernization process, predict that the world is on the eve of an impending S&T revolution, and call for China to be fully prepared for this new round of S&T advancement. Based on the detailed study of the demands on S&T innovation in China’s modernization, the reports draw a framework for eight basic and strategic systems of socio-economic development with the support of science and technology, work out China’s S&T roadmaps for the relevant eight basic and strategic systems in line with China’s reality, further detail S&T initiatives of strategic importance to China’s modernization, and provide S&T decision-makers with comprehensive consultations for the development of S&T innovation consistent with China’s reality. Supported by illustrations and tables of data, the reports provide researchers, government officials and entrepreneurs with guidance concerning research directions, the planning process, and investment. Founded in 1949, the Chinese Academy of Sciences is the nation’s highest academic institution in natural sciences. Its major responsibilities are to conduct research in basic and technological sciences, to undertake nationwide integrated surveys on natural resources and ecological environment, to provide the country with scientific data and consultations for government’s decision-making, to undertake government-assigned projects with regard to key S&T problems in the process of socio-economic development, to initiate personnel training, and to promote China’s high-tech enterprises through its active engagement in these areas.
